Design as a still life, depicting a table with circular-cut ruby pomegranates and cabochon sapphire grapes, the tablecloth and the fan embellished with single-cut diamonds, signed RenĂ© Boivin, partial maker's mark.

Condition

Signed René Boivin, partial maker's mark. Rubies well matched in colour, purplish red, with typical inclusions visible under close inspection, very abraded and chipped. Sapphires blue of strong saturation, with small scratches. Diamonds bright and lively. Scratches to the metal consistent with age. Clasp secure, sliding safety catch. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 45 grams.
