Ruby and diamond pendant

Collet-set with a cushion-shaped ruby framed with millegrain-set single- and circular-cut diamonds, supporting a pendent collet-set with a pear-shaped ruby surrounded with millegrain-set single-cut diamonds, partial French assay mark, unsigned fitted case.

Accompanied by AGTA report no. 10045809, dated 3 November 2006, stating that the ruby measuring approximately 8.88 x 1.00 x 4.45mm is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Partial French assay mark for platinum. Rubies purplish red of medium strong saturation, few surface reaching typical inclusions, some cavities, chips and abrasions. Diamonds bright and lively. Evidence of wear to the metal. Total gross weight approximately 3 grams. Unsigned fitted case.
