- Sapphire, diamond, platinum
Set with a cushion shaped sapphire weighing 6.12 carats, between triangular diamond shoulders, the mount further accented with brilliant-cut diamonds, size 53, partial Italian maker's mark.
Condition
Stamped PT and PT900 for platinum. Cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 6.12 carats, measuring approximately 9.66 x 9.68 x 7.16mm, blue of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, abrasions, nicks and small chips to facet edges and girdle. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with age and use. Shank slightly out of round. Gross weight 9 grams.
