Decorated in a reeded pattern, the lid set with calibré-cut rubies and circular-cut diamonds, measurements approximately 130 x 75 x 9mm, numbered, marker's mark, fitted case.

Condition

Maker's mark, numbered 2477. Stamped 14K for 14 carat gold. Calibré-cut rubies well matched in colour, purplish red of medium strong saturation, with minor scratches and abrasions. Diamonds bright and lively. Normal signs of wear and tarnish to the metal consistent with age and use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 203 grams. Measurements approximately 130 x 75 x 10mm. Fitted case stamped R W. JOHNSTON & Co, Jewelers, The Waldorf Astoria Hotel, New York.
