Description
- Sapphire and gold
One pair of baton design decorated with calibré-cut sapphires, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay and maker's marks; the other of stirrup design, set with sugarloaf sapphires, each signed Cartier, numbered, French assay marks.
Condition
Pair signed VAN CLEEF & ARPELS PARIS, numbered 50659, maker's mark for Sté SGDG. Pair signed Cartier, numbered 05761, French maker's mark, stamped BREVETE SGDG. Each with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Sapphires well matched in colour, blue of medium saturation, with typical inclusions, small scratches and abrasions, nicks and chips. Scratches to the metal consistent with wear. Gross weight approximately 25 grams.
