Emerald, coloured diamond and diamond brooch, Meister

Designed as a dragonfly, the head set with brilliant-cut diamonds of yellow tint, the eyes embellished with cabochon emeralds, the wings set with brilliant-cut diamonds and diamonds of yellow tint, the abdomen and tail set with similarly cut diamonds of pink tint, signed EM for Meister.

Please note that the diamonds of pink and yellow tints have not been tested for natural colour. Signed EM for Meister, stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Emeralds well matched in colour, green of medium strong saturation, with typical surface-reaching inclusions, some scratches and nicks. Diamonds of yellow and pink tints bright and lively. Near-colourless diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 4.50 - 5.00 carats, on average F-G colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. No signs of wear to the metal, in like-new condition. Clasp secure, sliding safety catch. Measurements approximately 68 x 85 x 20mm. Gross weight approximately 35 grams.
