Enamel, diamond and seed pearl necklace, 20th Century

Composed of sixteen medallions of floral and foliate design suspending a matching pendant, the front set with table-cut diamonds and enamel, the border and reverse decorated with polychrome floral enamel, the clasp set with rose diamonds, length approximately 630mm.

Mounted in gold. Due to the cutting style and the settings, the total diamond weight is difficult to estimate. Enamel in overall good condition, with a few scratches and small areas of loss. Seed pearls well matched in colour, of slightly cream body colour, with good skin and luster. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with use. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 271 grams.
