Description
- Sapphires, emeralds, diamonds, enamel, gold, silver
Designed as a dragonfly, the wings applied with plique-à-jour enamel and set with four cabochon sapphires, the eyes embellished with cabochon emeralds, the head, body and wings accented with single- and circular-cut diamonds.
Condition
Enamel in good condition, with small scratches and cracks. Cabochon sapphires blue of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions. Emeralds green of medium strong saturation, with typical surface-reaching inclusions, minor scratches and cavities. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with age and use. Clasp secure, sliding safety catch. In very good condition. Measurements approximately 125 x 75 x 12mm. Gross weight approximately 34 grams.
