Diamond necklace and a brooch

The necklace composed of a flattened chain supporting a brilliant-cut diamond, length approximately 450mm, and a brooch designed as a line of slightly graduated brilliant-cut diamonds.

Necklace stamped 585 for 14 carat gold, mounted in white gold, inscribed FBM. Brooch signed HDR, stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, inscribed 2.74 referring to the total carat weight of the diamonds. In our experts' opinion, the brilliant-cut diamond measuring approximately 7.28 x 7.32 x 4.49mm, calculated to weigh approximately 1.30 carats, is I colour, SI clarity. Remaining diamonds bright and lively, calculated to weigh approximately 2.50 - 3.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Small scratches to the metal consistent with light use. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 10 grams.
