Gem set and diamond brooch

Designed as the 13-star version of the American Flag, set with calibré-cut sapphires and rubies and baguette diamonds, the highlighted with brilliant-cut diamonds, the flag pole embellished with square-cut diamonds and capped with a pear-shaped diamond.

Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, mounted in white gold. Sapphires and rubies well matched in colour, blue of strong saturation and purplish red of medium strong saturation, with abrasions and small nicks. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.00 - 2.50 carats. Little signs of wear to the metal. Clasp secure, sliding safety catch. In very good condition. Dimensions approximately 48 x 50 x 10mm. Gross weight approximately 24 grams.
