Gem set and diamond necklace, 'Palette', Michele della Valle

Of fringe design set with variously cut gemstones including tourmaline, aquamarine, heliodor, sapphire and peridot, highlighted with brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 385mm, signed Michele della Valle, numbered, Italian assay and maker's marks, pouch stamped della Valle.

Accompanied by GGTL Laboratories report no. 17-G-14396, stating that the oval purplish pink tourmaline weighing 32.01 carats, measuring approximately 23.22 x 18.66 x 11.02mm, is an Elbaite tourmaline, together with report no. 17-G-14394, stating that the rectangular cushion-shaped pink tourmaline weighing 17.17 carats, measuring approximately 18.55 x 16.43 x 8.45mm, is an Elbaite Tourmaline, with no indications of thermal treatment, also accompanied by report no. 17-G-14392, stating that the pinkish orange tourmaline weighing 12.39 carats, measuring approximately 17.37 x 14.20 x 7.25mm, is a Liddicoatite tourmaline, with no indications of thermal treatment. Signed Michele della Valle, numbered 130725, Italian maker's mark. Italian assay mark for 18 carat gold. Coloured stones well matched in colour, with typical inclusions, a few scratches and abrasions. For more information on the three tested tourmalines, please refer to the gemmological reports. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 26.00 - 27.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mount. Clasp secure, safety catch. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 108 grams. Pouch stamped Michele della Valle.
