Grandville, [J. J.]. Les Fleurs Animées. Paris: Gabriel de Gonet, 1847. 2 volumes, 8vo. Hand-colored frontispieces, 52 plates after Grandville, all but two hand-colored. Contemporary full green calf, spines with raised bands in six compartments, richly tooled in gilt with red morocco labels in two, gilt dentelles, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. Some foxing throughout, some staining to both volumes, some wear to extremities.

Quarter red morocco, spines with raised bands in six compartments, title and volume numbers gilt in second and fourth, others with repeated decoration in gilt, marbled endpapers. Some bumping to corners, overall rubbing to extremities.

Brown cloth with elaborate blind and pictorial stamping in gilt, green, blue, red pink, and white, all edges gilt, yellow endpapers. Some wear to spine, joints loose. Grey cloth slipcase.
