Condition
The surface is in generally good condition, aside from surface dirt and minor craquelure visible in the grays of the landscape. The work has been thinly painted and the medium is visible in the landscape in the foreground. Under UV: there are small areas that fluoresce in the foreground, which may be related to the artist working out his method. There are additional small, brushy areas of fluorescence scattered throughout the center of the sky.
