Condition

The work is hinged in two places along the top edge to the current mat. The sheet has been unevenly trimmed; the lower edge is deckled. All four edges are taped on the verso; this tape is visible along the extreme edges recto. The sheet has discolored with time; the darkened shadow of an old mat is visible along all four edges. Minor scattered handling creases. Remnants of gold paint on the tape at the lower corners as well as very minor amounts on the sheet lower left.
