Condition

Unlined. Painted canvas is visible along stretched edges. Widely patterned stable craquelure visible in areas of composition. Under UV: Varnish fluoresces green and is difficult to read through. Inpainting to the top edge, and upper right and left edges to address frame abrasion. A few spots of inpainting in the background above the groom, and a few strokes to the center of the figure's costume and hands, as well as in the knee of the armor.
