Condition

Overall very good condition. The bronze surfaces present with an exceptionally rich russet brown and green patina. With light surface soiling and traces of oxidation to the recessed areas. The interior with a period Tiffany glass liner displaying a vibrant yellow-orange coloration with strong iridescence. The glass liner with cracks throughout which have been recently sensitively stabilized by a professional glass conservator. The liner with small losses adjacent to the cracks. The mounted shell with some light surface soiling and minor traces of discoloration and edge wear. A superb example of this highly sculptural and desirable inkstand model.
