Condition
Overall very good original condition. The bronze presents with a rich brown patina. With some small, minor traces of oxidation along the top edge. The turtleback tiles all appear intact and undisturbed. The tiles are beautifully iridized and present with strong luminosity displaying a stunning range of intensely saturated blue tones. The jardinière retains its original zinc liner, which shows surface corrosion throughout consistent with age and use. An exceedingly rare form by Tiffany Studios displaying the firm’s innovative and artistic use of “Turtle-Back” glass in their smaller table articles. Would serve as a gorgeous planter.
