Condition

Overall very good condition. The enameled surfaces with some minor irregularities throughout inherent in the making, not visually detractive. The box and lid each with a few small areas of restoration which have been recently sensitively restored by a professional conservator specializing in enamel wares. When viewed in person, the vase has great visual presence, displaying a brilliant and intensely saturated color palette. The fiery yellow-orange passages of the background contrast beautifully with the deep reds, purples, and vibrant greens of the raspberries and leaves. The decorative raspberry motif extends continuously from the lid onto the box, creating a wonderfully harmonious, singular composition.
