  • enamel, gilt-metal mounts
  • 8.5cm., 3 3/8 in. wide
the lid, sides and base painted with various stages of attraction, reserved on a turquoise ground, the interior of the lid painted with a lady welcoming her lover, wavy gilt-metal mounts

Condition

Lid with some minor hairline cracks around edges, base with two cracks at each rear corner - visible from the inside only. a few normal minor chips to corners and ends. good order overall.
