Catalogue Note

Danish design is renowned for its combination of high quality craftsmanship, functionality, and aesthetics, and the present model is without exception. Executed to a high degree of precision, this cabinet echoes the rationalist lines from master designers Kaare Klint and Mogens Koch, two founders of the Danish Modern movement. The present lot was likely a special order model produced for the high end Copenhagen retailers Illums Bolighus, who also represented the works of Nanna Ditzel, Finn Juhl, and others.
