Catalogue Note

Jorgen Høj employed traditional materials such as leather, wood, and steel on which to found his works. He collaborated closely with Poul Kjærholm, and their influence on each other is clear. The present lot was produced by master upholster Ivan Schlecter, also known for his collaboration with Kjærholm, who deemed him ‘the most talented craftsman in Denmark.’
