Catalogue Note

Having been Head of Design for Zaha Hadid for no less than a decade, Philip Michael Wolfson orchestrates impressive fluid designs that immediately seduce through their simplicity and dynamism. Having opened his own studio in 1992, his designs always consider the materials they are applied in, rendering his furniture visually very vivid. These fabrication qualities spring from his signature tectonic design language, contextualising each piece in a unique way.

Blending the features of bolted aluminium together with the continuous, smooth and bent silhouette of its design, the desk prototype shares a stealthy elegance with a touch of callousness.
