Catalogue Note
Jonas Bohlin began his career as an industrial engineer, working on bridge building production, likely one of the inspirations for his ‘Concrete’ chair which was designed in 1981 and sent shockwaves throughout the design world. In 1984, Bohlin continued his experiments in concrete, this time using the material as both a sculptural and foundational element, as for the present lot.
