Catalogue Note

Zaha Hadid delivered to the world a different way of seeing architecture and design. Fluid lines are an integral part of her work and water has often been a source of inspiration.  Undulating and voluptuous, the Aqua Table’s three fin-like legs gently dip at their juncture with the table top, allowing the reflective surface to evoke the memory of distant pools. The table was created through an innovative technique by applying glass-reinforced polyester around a digitally milled mould.
