Condition

Overall very good condition. The plastic surfaces with scattered surface scratches, minor abrasions and minor dents throughout consistent with age and gentle handling. The plastic with a few scattered very minor surface irregularities inherent in the production process. With light surface soiling to the recessed portions of the design. One of the elephant's feet with a small, black, horizontal mark measuring approximately 1 inch wide just below the artist's signature. The box lid does not presently fit flush to the base, likely a result of temperature variation. We would recommend considering professional conservation to ensure a seamless fit. The original leaflets in good condition. For further details on this lot, please contact Sotheby’s Design Department: 212-606-7170.
