Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to the backing board at all four corners. There is pale time staining to the sheet and the sheet undulates slightly. Under close inspection, there is evidence of light rubbing to the charcoal which is consistent with the artist's working method and choice of medium. There are artist’s pinholes at the four corners with some associated minor tearing at the top 2 corners and lower corner, likely due to the artist's working method. The minor tear in the lower left corner has been stabilized and reinforced on the reverse. Framed under glass.
