Condition

This work is in excellent condition overall. The painted and paper elements of the installation are site specific. The 75 ceramic figurines included in the installation appear well intact and stable. The irregular surface texture to the ceramic figurines and leather wings are consistent with the artist's working method and chosen medium. Under very close inspection, there are a few figurines which show evidence of minor repairs, scratches, and very minor pinpoint losses. Sotheby's would be delighted to liaise with the artist’s studio or gallery in order to facilitate the realization of this installation. Any subsequent installations of this work will be at the future owner’s expense.
