Condition

This work is in excellent condition overall. The canvas is unlined. The surface texture and irregularities to the pigment application are consistent with the artist’s working method and choice of medium. Under close inspection, there is evidence of very light handling to the corners and turning edges as well as evidence of some light dust accumulation on the surface. Only visible under very close inspection, there are a few minor scattered accretions to the surface and a few pinpoint losses to the pigment particularly to an impasto peak at the lower right of the canvas. Unframed.
