Condition

These works are in very good condition overall. The wood surfaces with scattered minor surface scratches, abrasions and dents with occasional minor discolorations and stray marks, consistent with age and gentle use. The chair on the left in the catalogue illustration exhibits a small chip to the interior back edge of the armrest measuring approximately 1/4 inch high. The proper left back leg with a shallow dent approximately 1 inch high at approximately two-thirds height. The same chair with 824 inscribed in the wood on the front of the seat, original to the wood before production. The other chair shows some age cracks to the grain on the proper left edge of the armrest, stable. The same chair with dents to both corners of the right side appendage, not visually detractive. The same chair with some minor concentrated abrasions to the front edge of the seat. The upholstery is in very good condition with occasional very minor areas of wear and impressions.
