Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and very slightly slack on the stretcher. There is evidence of very minor wear and handling to the corners and turning edges. There is some scattered stray media noted which is consistent with the artist's working method. Under close inspection, there is a subtle variation to the white pigment in the center-right of the composition. There are a few scattered, unobtrusive surface scuffs evident and some scattered, unobtrusive pinpoint surface accretions. There is evidence of hairline tension craquelure along the turning edge, particularly the left side. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there are two ¼ inch areas along the top edge 43 inches from the left which fluoresce lightly. Unframed.
