Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is unlined. There are some minor scattered pinpoint pigment losses. There are some soft surface abrasions and scuff marks at the lower left corner. Under very close inspection, there is very minor, hairline craquelure along the edges of the canvas. There is a minor surface accretion at the lower left edge and in the middle left 1 inch from the edge. There is a 1/4 inch faint surface abrasion 1 inch from the figure's right eye. There is evidence of minor wear and handling to the edges of the frame and a 1 inch, minor loss to the frame at the center left edge. Under Ultraviolet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. Framed in artist's frame.
