Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The tree and wire basket of pears rest on top of the base. All of the elements are well intact. The varying surface texture of the work is due to the artist's choice of materials. Under close inspection, there are some scattered surface accretions visible. The tree element of the work has scattered surface scratches and scuffs. There are 2 minor cracks that are stable to the tree branches, and evidence of some oxidation to the faucet element. There is hairline craquelure to all of the pears elements with some associated areas of pinpoint pigment loss.
