Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is notably slack on the stretcher and buckles along the bottom. There is evidence of very minor wear and handling along the edges. The irregular surface texture and pigment application in certain areas is consistent with the artist's working method and choice of medium. There are a few areas of pigment separation consistent with the artist's choice of medium. There are 1/2 inch areas of paint loss at the upper left and top right. Under close inspection, there are a few areas which exhibit minor hairline surface craquelure consistent with the artist's chosen medium. Only visible under very close inspection, there is a 1/2 inch surface media accretion at the top right. Unframed.
