Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is unlined. The surface variations and textured impasto are inherent to the artist's working method. There is evidence of dust accumulation throughout. There are a few scattered surface accretions and minor areas of pinpoint loss to the pigment, specifically along the edges. There is evidence of hairline stable craquelure throughout and two areas of radial craquelure at the lower left and right quadrants. There is a 1 ½ inch repair to the canvas on the reverse at the lower left when seen from the reverse. Under Ultraviolet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
