Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the illustration fails to convey the shimmering surface of the grey pigment apparent in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals intermittent light stretcher marks along all four edges. There is light wear to the wooden collaged element, which appears to be original. Further close inspection reveals some light cracking to the white pigment with some small paint losses in places, and there is a short and unobtrusive scratch towards the centre of the lower left quadrant. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
