Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly brighter in the original and there are more yellow undertones in the background of the first work. Condition: i. This work is in very good condition. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light. ii. This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection reveals a few thin and unobtrusive hairline cracks and tiny media accretions scattered in places. Further very close inspection reveals evidence of very small impact towards the centre to the upper right quadrant and a tiny paint loss approximately 30 cm towards the centre right edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
