Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the blues and greens are brighter and more vibrant and there are fewer yellow undertones to the paper tone visible in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached verso to the mount in the upper two corners, undulates slightly and there is some evidence of time staining. There is an artist's pinhole towards the upper left corner. Extremely close inspection reveals a tiny and unobtrusive crease to the upper left corner of the sheet as well as a very short and superficial tear to the lower right corner and some minute and unobtrusive nicks to the left edge, towards the lower left corner. Further close inspection reveals a small number of foxing spots in isolated places throughout the composition.
