Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is less saturated and there is less contrast in the original. Condition: This work is in good and original condition. Very close inspection reveals some hairline cracks in places isolated to the thinner impastoed areas. Further close inspection reveals some faint spots of media accretions in isolated places, as well as some dust that has settled in the painted areas. There are two spots of paint loss, one in the upper left corner and one towards the lower right corner, as visible in the catalogue illustration. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
