Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is evidence of wear and handling along the edges with some hairline craquelure at the pull margins and associated areas of minor loss. Under very close inspection, there are light surface abrasions and areas of rubbing to the pigment throughout, most notably two light horizontal abrasions just left of center of the blue orb, and a few pinpoint spots of loss are visible throughout, notably at each corner and 1-inch down from the left edge of the canvas just below center. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is a pinpoint drip accretion and two areas to the upper left in the blue above the central red square that fluoresce lightly and do not appear to be the result of restoration. Unframed.
