Condition
This work is in very good and sound condition overall. Under very close inspection, a few pinpoint spots of loss are visible along the black-painted rim and some faint colored abrasions are visible along the widest part of the vase. Under raking light, scattered and unobtrusive faint surface abrasions are visible.

Catalogue Note
"This irony is even more apparent in the plaster sculptures I did with LA 2...We began combining our two styles to create an overall surface of intermingling lines. All of the work we have done is about 'surface' and usually covers and transforms an object it is applied to."
