Condition

This work is in very good and sound condition overall. The scattered signs of wear, such as scratches to the paint, minor stable cracking with some losses and some oxidation are inherent to the nature of the found materials and the artist’s working method.

Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. Catalogue Note

"I wasn't interested in car parts per se, I was interested in either the color or the shape or the amount...Just the sheet metal. It already had a coat of paint on it. And some of it was formed...I believe that common materials are the best materials."
