Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and well-stretched. The colors are vibrant, and the media layer is stable. Light wear and handling marks are present along the extreme edges of the canvas. Under raking light, a minor spot of restoration measuring 1/2 inch in diameter is visible in the lower right quadrant approximately four inches from the corner in the purple field. Under ultraviolet light examination, fluorescence occurs in several of the white areas of the composition, which appears to be inherent to the pigments selected by the artist. Framed.
