Condition

This work is in very good and sound condition overall. The inconsistency to the texture, scattered craquelure and traces of yellow discoloration are inherent to the artist’s chosen polyester support. Under close inspection, there is scattered minor pinpoint rubbing visible to some of the black-painted areas, exposing the white layer of paint underneath. Also under very close inspection, there are scattered media accretions likely from the time of execution and stable cracks most notably in the smallest, c-shaped element on the top.
