Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the background is slightly lighter and the orange brighter in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals a few small spots of wear to the lower left, centre left, upper left and upper right edge. Visible only when examined under raking light, there two small and unobtrusive rub marks towards the upper right corner, and a further rub mark towards the centre lower edge and one towards the centre of the right half of the composition. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
