Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and the green tends more towards a neon green in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection reveals some very light wear in places along the edges, and there is an unobtrusive rub mark towards the lower right corner, to the left of the green paint. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.

Catalogue Note
“Majerus always retained some distance to art’s image-finding processes: he did not believe in painting’s immediacy, but rather in a system of codes and references that can be deliberately combined and transferred into the medium of painting.”
