Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, however the red spray areas along the upper left and lower right are tinted more towards a deep magenta and the yellows are neon. The overall tonality of the work is much brighter and more vibrant.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached verso to the mount in several places. There is a slight undulation to the sheet, inherent to the artist's working method. There is an artist's pinhole just left of centre in the blue area and a 1.3 cm inconsistency to the paint layer at the top edge, visible in the catalogue illustration, and likely inherent to the artist's working method. Under very close inspection a faint rub is visible in the lower left of the dark magenta area.
