Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the silver is darker and reflective in the original. Condition: Unexamined out of it's frame, this work is in good condition. There is some light wear and frame rubbing along the edges. Some of the pencil seems to have faded slightly, particularly to the right side above the signature. Close inspection reveals very light craquelure, mainly to the lower half. There are media accretions in isolated places, and evidence of three small impacts towards the lower half of the silver part. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
