The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly darker in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The surface irregularities are in keeping with the ageing process of the artist's chosen materials. Close inspection reveals a few unobtrusive rub marks in places. There appears to have been some movement to the centre right protruding element, and the backing board has been reinforced by a professional restorer.
