Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter in the original and the stone base has fewer yellow undertones. The catalogue illustration also fails to fully convey the reflective nature of the aluminium. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals some shallow surface scratches and short rub marks in isolated places to the plexiglass. Further close inspection reveals a few media accretions scattered throughout, and some glue residue towards the lower edge of the plexiglass. Some media accretions have deposited on the bottom inside the plexiglass, and there is wear along the edges of the stone base.

Catalogue Note

"My sculptures are new objects in space, light reflectors and instrument of movement. Time becomes perceptible in their rhythmic structures. I produce no objects because I do not wish to participate in the objectification of our world."
