Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the black background is slightly lighter in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached verso to the mount along the upper edge. There are artist's pinholes in all four corners. The paper undulates slightly. Visible only upon extremely close inspection in raking light, there are some light rub marks in places, mainly to the black pigment. Further very close inspection reveals very thin and faint mount staining to the extreme outer edges. There are two short and unobtrusive creases, one towards the centre of the composition and one to the lower edge, approximately 15 cm. from the lower left corner. Further close inspection reveals a tiny tear towards the centre of the upper edge.
